Bad day for dirt bikes

What a bad weekend for dirt bikes and dirt bikers, a 45 year old man died riding in Belanglo state forest, and Nowra City Motorcycles (David Byrnes Motorcycles) burnt down.

This second fact was a pain in the arse for me and my brother, it took us an hour to get through nowra on the way home from batemans bay.

But we cant winge because we made it home safe, unlike the poor bugger from the southern highlands.

Local news says his mates took him out of the bush and took him home and he died later from his injuries. It sounds pretty sketchy.

I saw on the news that David Byrnes Motorcycles was on fire with the surf shop pity they were pretty good there I dealt with them a little when I worked on the south coast and bought a DR with a mate from them. There was a gas main or outlet that burnt for ever that was causing the HWY to be shut for hours they said, they couldnt put it out

RIP old mate in the forest, does sound strange see what comes of that in the next couple days
