dudeMarch 11, 2013 at 7:03 am #237882Bravo Mick and TB for putting their melons together and creating a great ride with a great charity attatched :cheer:
Thanks to all the Warchoppy locals for helping out and Shirl and Baza and their chooks.
Allways great to ride in Bago with the locals,top bunch of fellas who just love to ride out in the scrub and are only too happy to show us old bulls their bushy playground … :huh: …:cheer:A few highlights for me :cheer:
* Road trip with House and Roachie :cheer:
* Seeing Boony as crook as a dog and in a Tu Tu on the start of the ride. :kiss:
* Watching Gero and his “never give up” attitude
* Razzle hitting a tree and smashing himself up with style and a smile :woohoo:
* Dude hit an erosion mound and went so high he came down with ice on his helmet :ohmy:
* Watching my own head spin when Rach told me she had only been riding dirt bikes for 5 months :blink:
* Seeing Flying Fish getting chucked off her bike and her not giving a rats arse
* Jeffros cool goggles
* Having a bath under the water tank at brecken ridge as soon as i got off my bike
* Breakfast Sunday morning followed by a swim at Port on the festy main beach amongst all the flood debri :sick:
Great week end….absolute ball tearer :woohoo:Cheers Bol :woohoo:

March 11, 2013 at 8:58 am #237883March 11, 2013 at 9:15 am #238006Thanks Mick for the “Razzle styled it up all day” comment, and Bol for the “smashing himself up with style and a smile”, BUT;
After 4 hours at the lovely Kempsey Hospital today, I have a broken (completely snapped) collar bone and three cracked ribs … no wonder that last 20 or 30k’s f*ckin hurt like hell! :pinch: I actually don’t remember much of that last bit of the ride … thank you adrenalin :woohoo: And why do doctor’s always give you “that look” when you say “it was on a dirt bike”?! Bugger off and get a life! 👿
Anyway, my mantra has now turned to that of Snowy09, “there’s no such thing as too much body armour”!
So I’ve got 6 to 8 weeks of no riding (f*ck it!), 6 to 8 weeks to shop for LOTS of armour, new goggles (they got screwed over by some stray vine), new helmet (smashed the peak and scratched the shit out of it in “the incident”). 6 to 8 weeks.
I remember looking back and seeing Bol shaking his head at my moment of idiocy, my immediate thought was “how embarrassing, f*ck I’m an idiot” … then the pain started, I really didn’t care about being an idiot after that, funny … my only thought was “there’s no way I’m getting chopper’d out of here, keep riding, not far to go”. I must have asked Mick at least ten times “much further, is the next bit easy?”. :sick: :pinch:
Anyway, LIVE and LEARN, it was a great day, only screwed up for myself, by myself. Never again. :unsure:
Actually, my only regret is not introducing myself to each and every one of you, even to say g’day …. next time.
Razz.

to hear that you injured yourself, 6 – 8 off the bike sux.
Hang in there mate, start counting days, it will fly past if you keep checking OBT and stay positive
I’m sure it will be worth the wait!!March 11, 2013 at 9:33 am #237885Holy Shit Razz :ohmy:
I didn’t think you were an idiot…just what you did was spectacular!!!!
Can’t believe you rode the rest of the day like that..all busted up :ohmy:
You my new bloody hero :cheer:Bol :woohoo:
March 11, 2013 at 9:40 am #238013It looks like it was a ripper of a weekend :woohoo: Well done to the organisers and all those who attended. Unfortunately I had to work
But I did get to take the tin lids to the Top Gear Festival on Sunday at Eastern Creek which was very good, and watching Mark Webber in an F1 car around there was pretty special especially when he was taking turn 1 FLAT and smashing the lap record with a 1.13.60 sec lap!! :woohoo:
Great stuff.
Cheers,

Although everthing I looked at all day was a bit on the blurry side, from what I seen of your incedent looked like it hurt, and yes i have the moment on film, you can see it in the distance , I will start the you tube marathon some time soon.
