went up to barrington on the long weekend with 4 other families all who had kids that ride . the adults went on a ride saturday ( pretty bl oody good one at that to) and the kids rode around on the MX track all the rest of the time , my 2 boys had a ball with the other 10 or so kids screaming around even had Stefan Merriman up there practising on one of the special stages for the upcoming round of the AORC. Ollie was up there to putting in some hotlaps ( we havent seen each other yet) but the kids had an absolute ballApril 29, 2011 at 8:20 pm #200341

First time I saw Merriman in the flesh was in the Watagans during the 2005 A4DE we setup in the bush in a single trail section I knew, we rode in no one else was around. Merriman came through slow looking silky smooth, we all stood and looked at one another and said “Merriman must have a problem he is out” that night looked at the days results he was fastest by a country mile  Slow is fast sometimes

April 30, 2011 at 2:12 am #200360Stefan merriman pulled up behind me while iwas getting all the gear on the kids , didnt realise who he was at first just said gday to him and when i worked out who he was i told the boys that they were being overtaken by a 4 time world champion and later when the kids were bench racin at lunch i heard my youngest fella saying he overtook a 4 time world champion LOL but you could tell straight away he was something else he just glided over the jumps and nailed or the apexes on the corners

May 19, 2011 at 2:00 am #201573Barrinton Tops is a great place. I have done a bit of trout fishing up in the Dilgry circle, have never ridden there, I bought my first BRP with that being the main aim and I still haven’t gotten there. So much country and so little time.
