We are planning to ride the barringtons on the first weekend of February.
Format is basically two half day loops leaving at 8am on both days, back for lunch and the remainder of the day in the creek on day 1 and back on day 2 for a swim and feed before packing up.
I will lead Day 1, an 80Klm with an optional 20ks at the end for those that want more.
Jonsa will lead Day 2, a 130ks with a fuel drop 3 hours in.
The venue is frying pan camping area in the barringtons see map below. There are toilets and a swimming hole for washing the dust off but not much else, its perfect, and no phone reception in the camping area either …. even better. Ill supply a large Gas BBQ for everyone to use, drinking water and firewood. So bring bike, swag, esky full food and grog, and fuel and you should be sweet. Maybe a roll of toilet paper
Ill be setting up camp on Thursday night and staying through to sunday. Look for the nissan patrol and jayco camper with the bike platform on the back.

Its a pretty cool backyard and not as rough as the wattagans although some of the 4WD access trails are getting pretty bad around jeruselum falls. We avoid them for the most part except for a very short section between the singles.

Sounds like we might have a few over xmas for the teaser rides. Should be good fun with a bit of exploring and linking some new loops together.
