By the way I am that sore it isn’t funny. I hope I only have a bruised rib it kills. That fall must have rocked me harder than I thought.

Big thanks to all for turning up and making that a great weekend away. I had an absolute ball and it was great fun showing you lot around the trails. Stoked that everyone seems to have had a great time and the pics and vids are terrific. Saving them all to the archive :)

Thanks to Jonsa for collecting the fuel drums Sunday afternoon, legend!

Boony not only turned up but was actually the first one to arrive, and with a brand new Kato as well. Sly bugger had us going ;)

Ill post up some vids and pics hopefully soon.

Big thank you to Mr Squiggle and Jonsa for a well organised ride. All flowed pretty well after the first hill (Saturday). Well planned and well executed. Thanks guys I had a ball.

    HEY ALL

Well for starters a big thanks to mr squiggle and all the guys who came along, what a great weekend.

Mr Squiggle’s loop on day one was awesome I was on sweep so I got to taste a little bit of dust off just about everyone, thank god I had some beer and a creek to help wash it out at the end of the day. The 1st hill sorted us all out a bit, good to get that one out of the way. Then we had a good mix of singles rutted fire trails some creeks to cool off in and a few more inclines and descents to keep things interesting.Well done Squiggs

That night we chilled out around the fire with a few ales telling all the tall tails about how good/bad we rode all day. Then at the end of it all we decided on the bikes at 7am the next morning , well I think its safe to say that we ran a little late I think it was after 8am before we got moving

Day 2 my loop I’ll let you guys fill us all in on how that went but to me it was another good long day of riding but the group did seem to shrink a little through the day. A couple of brake downs a couple of guys had to get home early and then, well the rest is a secret

Anyway to finish off Squiggs you can rock a guitar and sing a little too I’m sure all who heard will agree but your not so good at finding your keys when its time to go home hahahaha and all you old bulls know how to have a good weekend

    Cheers Jonsa

Ps. Squiggs make sure you post up those pics i sent you, even that one for the girls, you with yah shirt off chopping some wood hahahaha

See Dude you didn’t need a run up for the Big Hill haha.
When you tell your head that it’s uphill in the youtube video it’s quite real….
Also the hill continue on – that wasn’t the top I’m sure of it.

A huge thumbs up to Mr Squiggle for putting this ride together. He now has a feeling for what goes into organizing and leading a ride, and mate you nailed it.
The trails were awesome, apparently there are a few hills down that way. The camp site was great, the idea of sitting in a nice cold creek drink a “few” cans after a good (HOT) ride is something that should be a standard addition to any OBT organized ride.Johnso ate dust all day and just took it in his stride and played super sweep like the best of them. My new hand grips felt unreal through them trails.
I had a moment towards the end of Saturday’s ride that reminded me I need to get that MRI done, so I pulled out of the Saturday ride as to not slow the boys up.
The 300 ks was worth it, A big thumbs up to the Dubbo boys, great effort, (the boys can ride pretty well too.)
PS Squiggles,,( I told you so)

Looking forward to the next one squigs,( winter mate)
