Great ride :woohoo:
Great conditions :woohoo:
Great company :woohoo:    (just the Son leading and Dad trying to keep up)Found the first singles to be smashed with trees  :pinch:
We were a little concerned, but after skipping a couple of singles, we were back on track for what is an awesome ride :woohoo: :woohoo: 👿Did a little detour/challenge at the “T”
Probably keep that in from now on :woohoo:
Just stuff we had done before but had forgotten aboutConcrete Hill is getting better/harder, but is still a good little challenge :woohoo:
So sick of typing :silly:
Just check out the pics :woohoo:
Don’t be fooled into thinking it is easy
The gradient is always steeper than the camera portrays
Cheers

I don’t know where he finds the energy  Tim had at least 4 attempts at this hill :silly: before nailing it in one flowing movement without stopping
Oh to be young again:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
He looks back with pride as if to say “that’s how its meant to be done, Dad” 👿

July 6, 2015 at 11:59 am #262243Hi Murph,
Was the north walk decent and the trail into the bottom of wave rock and out of it pretty clear of fallen timber?
Cheers Nick.
PS. nice work Tim
July 6, 2015 at 11:58 pm #262260Hey Nick
Yeh the tracks you mentioned are pretty clear
One large tree at the start of the decent and couple of wattles along the way
At the very top of Bar Hill, where you pick up the North walk, there is a big tree down but it has a new line around it.
Also after you desend the pinch and meet back up with the track leading to Warrawolong Rd there are two trees down. They are close together and still a bit of an obstacle even after Tim and did a bit of work there. Just too far in to walk with a chainsaw.
Cheers
MurphJuly 10, 2015 at 11:52 am #262264Crikey and you and Tim are really suckers for punishment aren’t you? I was happy enough to ride down those hills….the last memory I have of riding up wave rock, boxing day 2010….thankfully it was a cold day but on the wet side. There was more dragging than riding
Wonder how far NPW will go with that section of watagan creek road, if they’ll do their best to close that whole section of the road or devote some time for repairs??
Always love having a look through your reports Murph, and love the pics :cheer:
