Nice cool morning but very dusty
    7 starters
Did all the singles down to the Basin and then on through harder stuff
XRBull was first to leave with a very swollen hand (Thanks for the beers left on rear bumper)
Hope you didn’t break any bones in the hand, mate.
Westy82 did it tough for most of the day but to his credit stuck with it to almost the end
He and Al left before Wave Rock
2 Banger and WRSteve finished at the top of Wave Rock and Tim and I went on to do another single, Farrels 3 and Peanut hill.
I balked at hitting Peanut after watching Tim smash it. :woohoo: (Smart arse) ;)
Hope ya’s all had a great day, Tim and I did. B)
Let us know what happened to the 300, 2 Banger. :pinch:
    Pics to come
    Cheers

Well i must first say that was the hardest ride i have done in my life and been the first time i have riden a 2 smoker it sure was a mean feat and today i feel like i have been hit by a mack truck 10 times over and the whole body is struggling to even move, but i have decided that i am going to go back to a 4 stroke.
Thanks for the experience Murph it was an absolute pleasure

If anyone is interested in a 2011 KTM 300EXC the ad is in the classified section.

Great report and pics thanks Murph awesome for taking the time :) Will come out one day and shoot a movie around one of you rides Murph.

If that was your first Murphssberg ride congrats Westy you have done one now respect mate. Was very very surprised to see you doing it as a try and get used to a two stroke ride but  Done now hope it isnt looking to second hand cause it was one pretty looking ride before (for a kato that is  )

Looks the goods Murph, some nice rock steps and hills thrown in the mix. You seem to have had a decent turnout of people for it too!

Westy – You must be a glutton for punishment going on that ride after complaining you can’t handle the 300 on your first ride. I’m not surprised you want to sell it after that. Don’t say I didn’t warn you and just to think you could have been out on a much more cruisey ride today at Ourimbah adjusting to your new/old bike.

Tim is obviously way too fit, we need to think of a better way to handicap him some more Murph :D

 Yeah MOTO you did warn me but i couldn’t head out today as i had organized a BBQ for the MOTO GP.
It was a humbling experience and i take my hat off to Murph the mans Fecking crazy.

Its was struggle for me really only up those goat tracks which people try and ride up :S
As soon as i got home yesterday the bike was stripped and cleaned and made beautiful again and i am surprised thas it didn’t get a mark on it and is still in perfect cond.

Thanks for the leading Murph & son ( Tim ) and the bit Eric did too ;) , It was a great day save for the dust and very slippery conditions because of said fine dust , I had a blast , my fitness didn’t allow me to finish the ride you guys did but I’m happy with the ride , I went onto reserve not long after leaving you guys on Watagan Ck rd so I made the right choice , we did the Helipad and down Farrels 2 to Old Mill and East to the Watto forest rd and south back to the cars , only beat Steve and Eric by 10 mins , Great day out , keen to do something similar in the future when I get somewhat fitter  .

    Happy Birthday Tim :woohoo:

    Cheers Alan

Good onya Westy for having a crack at a Murpsburg run :S

Although I think he went easy on you by the sounds of it,, Basin Run is not top grade for those maniacs

I give them a wide berth since having a little look a few years back

    Good report Murph too ;)

BTW, thanks for doing a fine job sweeping Alan. B)
WRSteve had a ball and I’m tipping he’ll be out on another one of our rides. :woohoo:
As for 2 Banger he is just crazy. :silly: On a couple of very steep downhills I heard him giggling and laughing behind me and then he’d take another line and shoot past. :woohoo: How the hell he stays upright I don’t know. :woohoo: Hope you sort the 3 hungey out mate. :S
Westy, you done well to get through what ya did with out getting a scratch on your bike. It probably wasn’t the best ride to try and come to terms with a 2T. Hope you had fun anyway. At least it was a nice light bike when it came time to man handle it.
Haven’t heard from XRBull, hoping his hand is alright.

    Cheers
    Murph
