Well the race is of and running, just gone midday and all is right as far as I can see, the triple 8 falcon is in the lead and I have my first bundy in hand in my new preproduction old bull stubbie holder, Go all the 888’s!

AnonymousI’d like to see Morris/Ingall take it out, though they are currently sat in 5th.
Tander blamed the clutch for a shit start sending him to the back and incurring a 10 second penalty. Shame as I like Mark Skaiffe and would like to see him do well.
3.6 litres of fuel a lap they use. Not bad considering the laps are so short!

AnonymousBack on topic – I can’t believe how many problems these cars get for simple things like anti-roll bars, suspension not set-up correctly, understeering etc.
What have thety been doing in qualifying etc? It’s not even like it’s the first time the race has been held there, they must have a fair idea of the required setup.

Its sort of like riding your bike you know? You have been doing it for awhile and you know what falls off it and what needs tightening and checking the common things so it doesnt fall apart all through the Watagans like a KTM I know  :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

AnonymousYeah but I’m not a multi million dollar race team. How many other car race events have so many car changes being during the race after they have had practising and qualifying? Down to basic stuff like tyre pressures they are changing because the car understeers.
Just seems a bit half arsed. Maybe that’s why they banned the quick and reliable V8’s from competing as they’d wipe the floor with the Ozzie shit.

AnonymousAlso, what happended to Morris/Ingall? I went down to the beach for an hour for a paddle out on the board and they have dropped down to 17th or something?
