Bathurst is on this week, anyone going, im getting there about lunch time thursday. Ive been working in the blue mountains for a week and i still got the best part of a week to go, the royal hotel in springwood is a noisy place to stay so im driving home from now on, im getting sick of the road, all the way to Louee and back to springwood monday morning, then home then all the way to bathurst thursday.

I do a fair bit of driving and was over it on the way back from Louee so I;m glad I’m not going to bathurst for that reason alone this year!

I’ll be keen for next year though. Have a good time mole face

I only have to drive 30km to Bathurst and I’m not going either. I was there on Saturday and the fans are already starting to invade.

yea yea ‘the great race’ is on.

drivers from a minority sport not good enough to make it on the world stage, driving 2 makes of low tech family cars.

everyone, including the commentators, keep telling me over and over again that it is special. would it be so special if people didn’t wank on about it?

OK bring it on bone heads, i can take it

you can fight me in this thread over the weekend whilst i out riding (unless i’m hiding under bed because of the rain)

I used to be right into it when the average joe blow could rock up in a Celica and race (Hardie Ferodo days),heaps more entertaining then,than it is now. My old man and I would watch it from start to finish,now I watch the start and head out and ride my bike.

Another of Champo’s opinions thrust forward eh?

A minority sport maybe champo but its Australia’s biggest form of motorsport chosen by Australians and is supported very well

Drivers that can’t make it on the world stage, most of the top drivers have driven overseas at some stage in some form and done well for themselves

Driving 2 makes of low tech family cars, nothing low tech about a V8 supercar only thing on show here is you ignorance and arrogance towards something you know nothing about but am happy to call other people names that may enjoy it

No one bagged your music festival last weekend your views etc irrespective of what they thought, you could show some respect for other peoples interests even if they aren’t yours
