    Hello to you all,

It’s been a long time coming but it has finally made it. We now have the latest Dyno Dynamics 450DS Motorcycle Dyno. This Dyno is capable of running Road & Dirt Bikes.

As of this Saturday 15th August we are holding Dyno Days for all our customers. These Saturday Dyno days will kick off at 12.00 with a BBQ lunch. We will conduct 3 power runs of your bike & you will receive a print out
of the runs. Power runs are normally $60, but for our Saturday Dyno Special it’s $45.00.

Positions are strictly limited to 10 bikes per Saturday

To make a booking please call the shop on 9543-5133 or drop me an email. If you have a particular day you would like to book in for let me know at the time of booking. You can also make a group booking with your friends to see who really has the power they claim to have

    See you soon

I wonder if it would give a different result if you had a road tyre on it.

Don’t worry Mick, the BRP will probably spit all her tread off on the dyno anyway:laugh:

    Hey everyone

Our Dyno is a Dyno Dynamics Dyno, the flywheel only weighs 7 kgs, tha’s the reason we can run Dirt Bike with a dirt tyre.
Some other brands of dyno’s have rely on the flywheel weight ( a couple of hundred kilo’s) & this is why they have to fit a road tyre to a dirt bike becuase the weight of the roller will rip all the tread off.

For a power run we do three runs, this will not damage your tyre, if I was doing a rejet or remap I would fit a road tyre to the bike. Running the bike on our dyno will have the same effect of riding on the tar.

TB get the big girl on & we’ll see if anyone can beat her.

For everyone that went to Hampton, Louise’s ZX10R produced 150 hp on Thursday. On the weekend we were scrutineering the race bikes at Eastern Creek. Her bike had the second highest horsepower reading in the Superstock 1000 class. Not bad for a Chick’s Road Bike.

PS: My M109R has the same torque curve as a F111

So how did this go? Did any OBT members go and test their steeds out?

We could start an OBT power ranking system. I’d be interested to see what TB’s fiddy pokes out too. I’ll have to try and get the Kato down there when I can :)
