    Bello 2012

Theres no excuse for another Bello ride to be called off again

Thanks to Ev for having the balls to persist
we did give u a chance to pull the pin but with doubts in everyones mind we persisted and came through and smashed the weekend with the trump card

I Was really excited to find someone who has a bike like mine Ev, yours is just a little younger than mine

Wr’s they make em tough (They could design a better stand though it was a race to the first tree there for a while, design fault i reckon, wouldn’t be maintenance)

yeh thursday was pissing down rain but we had a good day and the rest , well the only time u got wet was when u fell off in the lantana or rode through a creek(or over them slippery as all shit logs in my case )

some creeks were deeper than others 😆

(i was following our fearless leader , went a little to the right …………………and went a little under , thought i would push it to the edge and went a little further under oops )

Thanks too Stm for showing us some of his backyard and the boys on saturday for treating us too some of Macksville

I still reckon the right side of the Widowmaker is the go (in the dry)

Galey will write a novel and fill everyone in on the details

Once again thanks to those who participated , and special thanks to Ev and Stm for having a go

I didn’t buy my bike to look at it in the garage or as a posy photo on my phone

however i did get to see my bike from probably every aspect whilst on the trail wether on it or not and we all still got home in one piece

Except Galey , he has a black eye from bluing in the pub on Sat night
    Can’t take him anywhere

    :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Where r we off to next

    History lesson
Many Moons ago there were three guys known as the three wise men

The first Man worked out that
” one should not be too judgemental off conditions until one has experienced conditions “

Confuscious was there and he said yeh but if conditions look dire then there is a possibility that this will be the case

The first man agreed but stated one won’t know unless he has a go

The second wise man worked out that
” women look good in skirts “
“Man look pretty suave in pants “

The third one was a bit slow on the uptake but got there
    he worked out that
“the shorter the skirt the hotter a woman looked”

A little later in the scheme of things there was a guy named Albert Einstein
He was pretty good with problems he really knew his stuff , most people are familiar with some of his stuff

He found these quotes from these 3 wise Men and there was a light appear in his head

in such a short time he worked out that if woman look good in skirt and Man look good in Pants and that man looks hideous in skirt

Man must wear pants for the sake of society to function in a workable Manner

:pinch: :pinch: :pinch: :pinch:

    DAY 4
After Bob somehow bought wheel bearings in Coffs at 900 pm on a sat night, we headed to Pine Creek on the Northside of town.
The creeks were back to normal but rain the night before meant conditions were slick but you could still get going pretty good in the really tight stuff especially the ones with bermed corners.A few of us got up close and personel with the red clay.

We took the hard way home and there was plenty of wet diagonal logs usually in pairs, we had to get the saw out a few times for fallen trees and there was this one wich was two trees fallen next to each other plus a ankle high stump in the middle of it.

    Then one last hill.

A top weekend considering,LC really handles his berg well , if Galey makes it up a hill but isnt happy with how it went hed have another go and its always good to meet someone with a bike more scatched than mine (Bob) we could call him Tenacious B, he just wont quit, he would have had 10+ gos at a hill even if he never looked like making it.
Hopefully one day well get a dry one in, maybe winter is a bit drier, but we would probably just be wet and cold.
