Is it Poossible to straighten bent bars without loosing too much tensile? I was wondering if a vice, heat and a bit of pipe to help is sane or not. Was sort of in conversation with a friend and the idea popped in to the head..
So, good Idea to try to save a dollar or two for a short time, or just plain outright stupid dangerous Idea?

It depends on how bent they are and what material they are made of. If they are an Aluminium alloy I’d bin them. If they are chrome molybdenum steel (cromoly) then a bit of heat and whack will see them alright.

If they are severely bent I would just scrap them regardless. It’s not like you’re landing 140ft table tops is it?

Agree with TB, over the shoulder with them once they are bent. They never come good and if you can manage to straighten them they will be weak anyway.
