Cabins there now, or else roll your swag out where ever you think you won’t get run over in the morning. Though I haven’t been there since the last manager left…I was there the other day new publican is a real publican , pretty sure he would go out of his way for any customer .
Just camp in the street or the van park or the creek ……no one cares Good place
I’m going back with my bike next time to ride those creeks and sand tracks …………they look or are Fing awsome
I tried so hard for 4 days to come up with some bikes to ride ………..all i came up with was an XR 400 but i never took it upGot to know the locals pretty well after i got bogged in the creek ………….doing circlework with the kids in the mrs Prado
only cost me a $25 donation to the firebrigade to get out :woohoo:

July 18, 2013 at 11:05 pm #246399It is hard to work out why the people are the way they are in some towns.
They may not necessarily be into bikes and they may of even had some less than pleasant experiences in the past, but, we are not all the same, we are coming to your little town and are going to spend a bit of coin there.
There are any number of little towns in NSW alone that are struggling but then don’t want to welcome you
Doesn’t make sense to me :silly:Pub at Tuena currently closed

Bob there is a way to say I wouldn’t stay at ……….. I reckon that would be great prevents others getting stuck there mate. It’s what the thread is for I think. Name them is a sensible manner
I wouldn’t stay at Yunta as mentioned by King Strucky, the publican is rude and unhelpful

July 19, 2013 at 2:37 am #246400I have a habit of calling into a lot of little Bozzers in my travels as some are very interesting and they SELL BEER :woohoo:
Went out at the Far Cain rally last year we went over to Nymagee and had a nice lunch ,they told us when passing through you can camp out the back and they will look after you.
Another little bozzer is the one at Dalton as you can camp out the back of there or they have a few rooms, a few cruiser boys were staying overnight the day I called in comming back form the Scrapheap.
Too many pubs too little time

July 20, 2013 at 9:37 pm #246403The Kitchener Hotel was ok a few years back,, small pub, rough locals (thought that dude was gona run over our tents in the middle of the night)
But a good feed and allowed us to camp in the fenced off beer garden with shelter, bikes and all
July 21, 2013 at 7:56 am #246404The Royal Hotel – Hill End, especially after 9.00pm on a Saturday when the local constable is out of town – A real eye opener

I can only imagine that Linz
We have had a couple of good times there too ,,,Hampton Pub is good also, log fire, out back bike parking and bunkhouse type rooms as well as normal rooms.
Just don`t pick a fight with an intoxicated local and run off after his car into the foggy night :pinch:
You may not find your way back   -
