Can anyone suggest a bike magazine that is worth reading?
ADB is a sad reflection of its former self. Dirt Action is pretty much just dunny roll with pictures.
Maybe I am just a bit jaded?
May 31, 2011 at 10:44 pm #202305What about Trailzone or Transmoto?

June 1, 2011 at 12:55 am #202313For the fear of being called tight, I will admit I don’t buy them. For good and honest opinions, I hit places like OBT and a few other forums for my info.
I had a subscription from some mag and they are all still sitting here unread by me.

well I would but the threads about Mags not you :laugh:I like Trailrider but I haven’t bought it for a while now. I have no money  Transmoto seems interesting but like others struggle to believe they can be objective when they need the manufactures, and other companies to advertise in their mag to keep them going.
It’s just an opinion is all

June 1, 2011 at 3:26 am #202306G’day all been a while!!
I agree with you a bit there TB, the mags survive on advertising, so they have to ‘bend’ the stuff they print….
keep em happy get the $$$
i agree with the first post, ADB has lost a little of it’s direction for me,
Clubby over at trail zone, great idea good mag but yeah just missing something???
adv mag, seems like a pretty good read, a lot of ADV type content if that is your thing!
Tuffy and trailrider mag not too bad an effort , got a bit more ‘real’ trail-rider (like us) type content
Transmoto looked like the ADB of old, lots of great pic’s heaps of content, but for a trail-rider a lot of ‘race’ content.
few other out there but for my $$ too much ’round in circles’ motocross crap for me!!!
better content here with the Bulls!!!! and its free……..
my 2c worth…Catch ya on the trail’s somewhere
MacKa……
June 1, 2011 at 11:51 am #202307I’ve been subscribing to ADB for years. I like it still and it’s something to flick through on the dunny. my 16 yr old waits for every month aswell. I’ve looked at a few others but they all seem much the same imo.
June 1, 2011 at 1:18 pm #202322I still do like having a hard copy but lets face it you can get the info off the internet way before the mags are out. I am considering renewing one of my subscriptions but only for IPAD, I can still take this to the bathroom with me, which generally is the only time I get to read them anyway.

Whoa Chris way too much information there! Im concerned you may make a mistake and use the IPAD instead of the IROLL while using the IPOO app. Please ensure the live cam function is turned off while using it.
