Time to get off my but and organise a ride.
We can’t do March at all as it is already fully booked.
Location
Bike Territory (bike park). 45km east of Narrabri in the Kaputar Ranges. 2 hours from Tamworth. See details here http://www.biketerritory.com.au .
The plan.
Turn up Friday for an arvo ride. Full days ride both Saturday and Sunday. Riders can drop out at any time on Sunday depending on their travel plans.
Costs.
$100/rider for accommodation and riding. Same cost for all regardless of if you arrive Friday, leave Monday morning or arrive Saturday, leave Sunday arvo. A bit of a bonus for those that arrive early.
Numbers.
34 beds. First in first served. unlimited camping spots. I’m not expecting record numbers but if they arrive we can split riding into smaller groups.
Catering
I am looking into getting catering for all meals from Saturday breakfast to Sunday lunch if enough people are keen. Not sure of costs yet but likely to be cheaper than bringing your own.
What to bring
Fuel for bike/car. Drinks. Snacks. Swag/linen.
There are two weekends available in the near future. The date with the best following will be locked in in the near future.
First date is 25/26/27 February. Risk is it may still be a bit warm. Bike Territory is cooler than Narrabri but still could be hot.
Second date is 8/9/10 April. Cooler and more suitable for the ring of knowledge but is the first weekend of school holidays.
Anyway if you are keen then post up your date. I will then lock in a date and start a new thread.
