Bilpin 2 Taralga Re-running Sun 18th Dec 2011

I know its late notice sorry but I need a ride before Christmas :blink: . Am going out this Sunday to do a pre-run for a 4 day navigation style ADV ride in April. I have been asked to help put together the April Nav ride and have most of it down pat, I just need to work on the section between Sunny Corner and the Kanangra-Boyd national park . I am pre running from Windsor through to Taralga. I will be using some of the common used tracks and some new ones to OBT members I reckon and myself. Basic route to Taralga is ALL dirt once we get to Bilpin. Lunch will be somewhere, there won’t be many stops, and fuel range required will be around the 300 mark just so we don’t need to stop much. Don’t know how many Klms but will be over 450 at least I reckon. Some exploring, some water crossings, some hills, some technical stuff, heap of fun and an adventure to be sure. Allow for a dark return to Sydney cause you never know eh

300kms he said he will carry a jerry and I said as he is making the effort we between the others going will look after him

It looks like I am in the game. :woohoo: Leave pass pretty well sorted. :blink: Bike half preped. Tank on, front tyre on, Just need to do a rear change and a gearing change and should be good for launch on Sunday morning provided that i stay off the piss on Sat night. :pinch: :sick:

I managed to get right on it myself at the missus` work do ( I was in better shape than most of the sheilas though ) :laugh: :woohoo:
