Mmm seen that literary visual aid somewhere before Mr menace, methinks you “sampled” it from elsewhere…….
That’s a hell of a lot of pre-load on that rear spring Mr Menage’, did you end up on the higher weight limit end of the recommended spring rate or did you flat out lie about your true weight?
Could you stand to be OBTs’ biggest potential loser?

May 4, 2009 at 6:48 am #132296…..about 115kgs of pure love, when im suited up.
the bloke at Krooztune had guessed me at 112ish…so i couldnt really lie;)
im all preloaded and ready to burst:laugh:
and no, i didnt sample it….it took me 20 minutes to work out how to do it!!
the cheek of you mr blue…..
May 5, 2009 at 3:39 am #132394Menace several months ago I too was a “larger” man of similar weight to you, but i went on the Special 3 step Mr Blue seperation diet,
1-you seperate from your Wife,
2-which seperates you from her excellent cooking and culinary delights,
3-which in turn seperates you from ugly excess weight.Downside is that it seperates you from the delicious cooking and culinary delights.

May 5, 2009 at 6:53 am #132625one problem mate,
i do the majority of the cooking.
how do i seperate myself from myself…..
for me its not so much the food, but the evil scotch and COKE!!
and dont ever ask me to seperate myself from that, i get nasty:laugh:
July 11, 2009 at 8:57 am #132658i threw a bit more bling at her today…..
my new black FORCE radiator guards, pretty easy to fit once you work out whats going on:laugh:
rear bracing…
the business end, all sorted…
finished product, theyre tuff as and look tuff to:laugh:  (sorry about the image quality, only had my phone)and i finally got around to slapping on my pivot pegs
they feel strange underfoot, ill see how they go….
they look very sexy though, while theyre new anyway:laugh: :laugh:for any one that hasnt fitted theirs yet, get some cable ties and tie back the spring to the peg so it is compressed and doesnt touch the frame…
makes easy work of installation;) , and dont forget to grease the pin either, like i did:angry:  :laugh:all prepped up for tomorrows “wombat state forest” ride with Adrian and Dave and Choppa and Frank and a couple of others…
im hanging to get her dirty;)a big thanks to the batman at battyes bikes for the pegs and mal from suttos for the guards, and TB too for organising our special OBT pricing:)
next weekend i will fit my heated grips. im thinking of putting a dial instead of a switch for them so i can tune the warmth in to perfection.
