I haven’t seen a modern 2T that doesn’t get a better response froma shorter well made silencer, I’d go for an FMF Powercore II or R304 procircuit, made a huge Difference to my 300 and my YZ loves Short silencers, the big doglegs are topend type silencers.
Check out the sections on KTMtalk or TT, as the expansion chamber is only one part of the equation.

i finally got around to fitting my grip heaters on the weekend…

i only wired them for the low setting as everyone says the high one is too hot. i can by pass the resister if need be with the swap of a spade teminal;)

i brought an illuminated switch from jaycar and made a minature bracket to hold it. not much room to move behind the headlight on the 300.

…heat on

heat off…

i brought an airbox wash cover and cleaned out the box. man was it dirty after the paddys swamp boghole:laugh: :laugh:

i also put a bar pad on her and some “more” new grips, TAG ones this time…

shes all dressed up and ready for the snow;)
