May 27, 2009 at 11:26 am #136855The things some people do for a Helicopter ride!
I hope the leg with the new 12″ plate modification is a little more solid than the ‘ragdoll’ model I saw on Sunday!
It doesn’t take much to hurt yourself, that’s for sure. I punched a branch straight through my boot and into my leg last year. It was such an inocculus little incident. No excessive speed, no moment leading up to it…..just a BANG….then pain…..then a sloshy feeling in my boot. Then months and months until it was good enough to walk properly. So don’t beat yourself up about it…..Shit happens!
Good on you TB and Chop. An at ease mind will help the body heal just that little bit faster.
Hope to see you soon

Good Luck man with the recovery etc,,,,,,,Eagle
May 27, 2009 at 12:23 pm #136863Crash thanks for helping me out and getting me into a comfortable position for the wait, oh and the drugs helped heaps too.

Eagle you said how quickly i got home… I fought my way out of there today taking control of the ward and discharging myself, those places are not where you heal fast surrounded by very sick and dying people… as i somehow ended up in the neurology ward not the broken bones ward.
