Hi everybody, does anyone know where i can pick up a black fuel tank for my 07 KTM EXCF 250. I have been quoted $500 by my local KTM dealer but that seems abit steep.

    is your’s damaged?

or are you after black for looks?

    that price sounds about right.

i asked for a prise on a long range for the 640 and was quoted something like $1800.00:blink:

Nothing wrong with current tank, i just was looking to trick her up with black plastics. An orange tank wouldn’t look as good i don’t think

My parts list says a fuel tank for a Vor is $250. If you’re pying double that for a pumpkin’s tank you’ll have rocks in your head!

Sheez I reckon Mr Blue must’ve stolen all the good luck this week because a black tank for a 250excf sold just last week for $185

    Completed listing for Black tank

if you’re going to keep the bike and have no need to keep the original for resale.

you could paint your tank black. cost about $50 tops, done in 2k. and the gloss would not fade and look tired.

can you use a spray can without getting runs in the paint?

i’d be happy to paint the tank for you, however i’m just too far away.

i did a touch up on my rear guard on Katie,= polishing out some of her war wounds. then hit it with some el-cheapo clear.

i did a rushed job and got some runs in it. however it lifted the look of the plastics which are showing their age, dull and look like they have a tinge of grey, if that makes any sense?

and gave it a gloss look again.
