I recon I would have already cracked Plinz. Tools would have been thrown and someone would have coped a mouthful down the phone, even if it wasn’t their fault.
July 13, 2013 at 9:46 am #245977Yeah mate
It completes the “adventure” package (road worthy). Funnily enough all bells, lights and buzzers work , just when bike warmed up all turned to shit. Probably go with a new battery (after consultation with betta bikes).
It’s more to do with confidence with the bike out on the trails. It will only be basic whats going on just not sure what’s doin’.
July 13, 2013 at 9:51 am #245978Hearing you, Scotty.

I am a very patient man, BUT. There is always a point where you tip over to the nasty side.
Well done thus far Plindz.
Hats off to you.
Keep cool if ya can.

Cheers
Murph the surfJuly 13, 2013 at 9:58 am #245979Me and my mate Hahn quite often contemplate the next stage – he did let me know however the light does go out when the fridge door shuts
July 13, 2013 at 10:00 am #245980I am not sure????????????????????????? :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
July 13, 2013 at 10:11 am #245981THe light in the fridge is the little mans job.
And he is a tiny man, maybena lepricon (spelling, wow, you’d think that an IRISHMAN would get that right) (maybe not)   :woohoo:
The fridge is our friend.
At least while the missus is not here
I DO LOVE HER THOUGH, I THINK SHE WAS THE ONE THAT PAST THIS CRAP COLD/FLU. NOOOOOOHHH NOOOOH
FARKIN HELL. I GUESS NOTHIN IS MEANT TO BE FAIR. BUT, HOW ABOUT A BREAK,,,,,,,,GOD……July 13, 2013 at 10:20 am #245982Obviously by your reply your other half has access to your computer – if so maybe we could work on the fridge while she works on my FU*#ING blinkers

August 4, 2013 at 9:23 am #245867Got all the electrical gremlins sorted – finished up being the rec/reg not set up properly.
The guys at Betta Bikes helped me get it sorted and now the bike is punching out over 13 volts with every conceivable thing turned on. Thankfully no road trip to South Aussie needed. I have got a new respect for Australia Post. Newcastle – Adelaide – Newcastle – 3 days :woohoo:
After a day out on the bike everything worked perfectly and the bike started on the button every time
Hopefully no more flat batteries
August 18, 2013 at 2:06 am #247532Glad you got it sorted. I just spent a day resurrecting an 07 WR450 that had not run ADR gear for years.
It had a few breaks in the harness. No fun to find them. I could not get the blinkers to work with the hi tech flasher can, the 1930’s bi metallic strip one did the business after banged it on the frame a few times.
Dirt bike electrics. Barely adequate at best.August 18, 2013 at 6:15 am #248238Yeah – I hear what you’re saying. I think the manufacturers wire bikes up a certain way just to piss us average folks off. :pinch:
I was glad to get mine sorted. Works a treat now. Good luck with yours. The flasher relay is in an area hard to get to. I finished up using a non genuine “Super Winker” flasher relay.
