That one has a much more finely tuned high perfomance engine than those other orange machines.

AnonymousI can see it’s a speed machine and the rider is obviously a Orange craving temple of sexual fitness
February 27, 2009 at 8:12 am #120468Added new Seal Savers this arvo, to hopefully protect the new seals,,,,,
Spoke to Al @ Newcastle DB Dismantlers , where I got the savers, and the forks done, He reckons the OBT flyer has been getting some interested lookers lately!!!! He says a few blokes have been writing down the details etc,,, So hopefully that equals more OBT members round Newcastle:)
Wonder if that`s how Seahorse & AL heard about us ???????February 27, 2009 at 9:09 am #124224
AnonymousI heard about OBT from another site.
By the way, talking about cost of getting your forks done. How about this.
Forks into Kawasaki Connection in Cessnock.
Heavier grade springs, new seals, 10w fork oil and labour.
$460
And no bloody pensioner rebate!

Glad I went the cheap option at the moment, cost $165 for service, new seals, oil.
Thought about the bigger springs but $$$ were tight

Sounds a bit on the heavy side, springs are what about $180 or so I think, fork oil couldn’t be more than $60 set of seal same say $60 at the absolute most, leaves $160 for labour, I think its top dollar but not fully ripped of if that makes sense?

SHITE, Sorry Al,
Reckon we will be checking the difference between the two on Sunday, My monies on yours to feel better;)Took it for a test ride today out around Tumblebee. Definate difference. More “solid” feel when hitting whoops hard (well hard for me:P ). Less dive into corners and turns in better. Checked the sag at the back again and about 3.5 inches so I am leaving the back alone. $460 is steep but I am pleased with the results.
old al.
