I like the hard chest plate of my ZAC armour.But………..have had plenty of cuts where ive sliced my shoulders on trees in between the gap of shoulder cover and the bicep cover that seems to slide all over the place doing sfa. I reakon the zac with the body suit addition would almost give you the best of both worlds being almost a pressure suit and a roost armour rolled into one. Only draw back is $$. Ive never tried a pressure suit so probably a tad biased there as well.

I’ve got the Zac Speed pressure suit, considering it is designed to work with the outer armour it doesn’t work. You need to remove the hard plastic shells that are sewn & glued to the shoulders. If you don’t you can’t move your arms upwards.

Might have something to do with wearing a Leatt.

Quality is poor as mine is only twelve months old & is falling apart.

The kidney belt sits under my arm pits.

    Extremely hot, great in winter

STM the six six ones I have seen dont appear to offer much resistance to trailside sticks that want to impale you. I was looking for something with a bit more plastic / armour down the front.

Go to Bunnings!!!! get a steel garbage lid and a roll of gaffa tape,,,,job done,

    Glad I could help!

I used to wear Dainese Armour 12 years ago when I raced MTB Downhill & it was the schniz;)
However, I sold it when I got too old & fat to race (kids came along)

Nowadays I wear the cheaper version (4BP Armpur) and find it to be almost as good…
It does tend to ride up with the kidney belt, so I got the missus to attach two velcro straps to the back of my moto pants & the other bit to the armour & presto,,,, ALL GOOD;)

I will buy another set if this set wears out (have had it for over two years alreadyB)
About $125 from memory,,, give Kate a call or click on the 4BP banner on top of our main page
