Sunday dawned with crystal clear skies, :) and I could hear the DRZ in the shed saying , c’mon Dad lets go,. ;) Hooks the trailer on with the DRZ and bandicoots KTM and headed to pick up bandicoot. Met the crew at our normal haunt then headed off to the hills. :)
First on the ride agenda was to get Bolls first off out of the way, πŸ˜† we stopped at the (TWIG) and the rest took care of its self( Bolls off) tick that box, :P then off into the pines we went, talk about some fallen trees,, they were everywhere. We picked our lines around 45 quadrillion downed trees on this ride. We finally got out of the pines and it was time to let the ponies have their heads. :cheer: :cheer: Off down parachute and across the creek and no drowned bikes then back out of the valley we went we :) .After some awesome riding by the boys and ANOTHER flat tire for me  we went back to the cars for a fuel top up and a feed, then back out we went. The total Ks was I think 80 something ks. The shenanigans’ from house and the boys was good fun especially when your heading down parachute about as fast as you dare.(thanks House) πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜† πŸ˜†
We found some new ,very sweet trails :) :) :) :) :) :) :) on the arvo loop and I think there will be some very interesting loops for the next big ride.
I was leading all day :( so there was not to many photos of the ride, so you will all have to believ us on how good it was. ;)

    photos to follow,,maybe

Bike + great trails + great weather + great group of blokes = Heaven although I didint see any virgins (not sure about Bollocks) or Al Queada martyrs (although House does look a bit suss) .Perfect way to spend the day.

Just a short message because i type as fast as i ride (slow) Just wonted to say a big thanks to Booney and Snowey for the great trails, the second loop was some of the best rideing i have done.
I must say that the riding was good but the crew of bloks is what made the day. It was just the best. Too highlights for me 1 the speed that Booney can get out of the yellow arm chair.
2 Bollocks riding all day with the spiniker out, Thank god he had undies on.
Well done boys, carnt wait till our next ride.
    Allways stay upright

i put a product in my tubes that really does assist with on the trail punctures, its a paper machete mixed with some super duper liquid so it doesnt dry like other products and it really does plug small to medium holes by plugging the hole instantly..This product really works, trust me.

Do we still trust you    Mouse’s are the best next are Bridgestone or Michelin ULTRA heavy duty tubes, when buying tubes be careful others say they are heavy duty but are crap when compared

Nothing worse then flats on the track eh :( :(

    Great report

the tube had a fare rip in it, i would say from grading the trail for the boys,,,going for a the heaviest tube i can get fron cycletune. flat or no flat, that was one of the better rides, as house and snow said, trails were a bit of it , the crew is what made it,

Yes, most of it has been said but I must echo the sentiments of my colleagues – a great day’s riding had by all. My thanks to Boony for the trailblazing and Damus for helping me out with the odd log that got in the way.
I also need to thank Snowy for the lift up and back. Cut my mileage back by 120ks and saved me and the tyres considerably.

And Eagle, thanks for enquiring about the barkbusters. I actually got some (lime green of course) to put on the afternoon before but as per usual the 5 minute job became 30 minutes (patience not a virtue) by which time I put it in the too hard basket and had a couple of beers. Will have them on for the next ride though.

    Cheers :)
