The late 1940s, 150.313mph.
He would have went naked for even less wind resistance but he was afraid he would get his tackle caught in the spokes.

The bike is owned by some people who live near Bonneville and it has never been pulled apart since so no-one knows how he made it go so fast.Get the movie, it’s a good one.

this is not Burt Monroe, this is Rollie Free and i believe it is the late 1940s
ps there are a few books about Burt Monroe which are way better than the movie and more accurate.
