Well with a some shed time the pig is ready for the 3 state ride. The carby is finally tuned where I am happy and fuel consumption is good. I fitted the high bend bars and risers and still needed to lower the pegs, I cut them and welded them in the lower pos and am really happy with the end result.:) I fitted a screen for bikes screen and then packed the top bolts of the screen out until I got the right angle and It works really well now.;)

So now its just a matter of testing it all on the ride :woohoo: So bring it on!!

Boulder I see you went with the 28 litre tank good move I reckon. I had a phone call today regarding tank sizes and I remembered that the 350 km leg we did between Menidee lakes and Yunta with the sand 19 litres didnt cut it as Lotsa ran out 25kms short or there abouts.

I am in the process of fitting Roto packs to my bike so I can carry around 30 or 34 litres of fuel giving be a comfortable 450 + kms. What worrys me is getting to a remote town and them not having any fuel and the next town is 100kms away, or you have to detour around whatever and that adds kms to the leg.

Besides you dont have to fill the tank up everytime do you?
