I actually sgree with Moto to a degree, compared to many overseas developed vehicles in the same price bracket the Commodore and the Falcon are not as nice to drive or as good value for money, but they are robust and sorta Australian.

Yes but I speak from experience. I had an ‘Aussie V8’ and it was a crap car. I had it 6 months before buying the Subaru and left it in my garage for a year before I could even be bothered to sell it.

I have also driven many of the V8 and turbo 6’s that both companies offer so I can at least comment from experience. They newer versions of both cars aren’t actually bad cars. It’s just they aren’t good ones either. You can’t argue with the power they make but their other attributes are questionable.

Don’t get me started on the antiquated pushrod engines either If I wanted a car with 70’s technology I’d go buy a car from the 70’s laugh.
