Murph is in Tassie fellas , another week or 2 IIRC .

Went with Metalgear and fitted both front and rear discs and pads on both Tims and my bikes before I left for Tasie. They were delivered within a few days of ordering B) :)
Thanks Oldfatbeerman and others for their input

BTW its bloody cold down here. The mountains have had a huge dumping of snow and it doesn’t look like we will be able to get up Mt Wellington for a look due to road closures. Plan “B” has us going over to Bruny Island in search of surf.
    Cheers

Metal gear eh. Our local dealership purchased a bulk lot of pads around 2009. Flogged them off to anyone who would listen. We had one ride and threw them in the bin. Hope they are better than what we tried that time…. I use $10 pads of eBay (for dry, not mud)! Disk wise I’d probably cough up genuine for the front. Solid A/M for the rear.

I had a problem with my WR front disc and pads last weekend , ordered new pads and disc from Metal gear via their web site around 10 am Wednesday and the postie knocked on my door with the order at 0730 Thursday (today ) I had the new disc and pads fitted less than 24 hrs after buying them ….. fricken awesome speedy service . The price was not too steep either , about $180 delivered for disc and pads + Priority post , that is a floating disc , not a solid one . I like to rely on my brakes a bit too much to fit something with less performance .

    10/10 for my money , Metal Gear ;) .

As stated I went with Metalgear brake pads
They are just about buggered after only 500kms
I know we have been riding a lot of wet shit lately
But I will be paying the 50-$60 for EBC as I normally do from now on
Lesson learnt (you get what you pay for)
    Cheers
