My pads are worn and I’m looking for some new ones.

What type / brand do you recommend ?

Any and all suggestions will be appreciated :)

    Adam.

    Hi Adam

I had poor rear brake feel on my Drz and by using the organic soft pads I got from suttos it greatly improved the brake feel. They don’t last as long but the improvement was worth it !!

From my limited experience with pads,
Think you will generally find that the Organic pads are better feel & stopping but don`t wear well, and the sintered are longer lasting with a litle less feel

Like tyres, they are a bit subject personal preference & what type of riding you do regularly :)

And like tyres the soft grippy ones wear fast and the hard ones wear slow. I am a fan of soft pads for the feel they give.

thats why i like the sbs sintered pads they stop a lot better than the ebc and ferardo sintered pads but still last in the wet where the organics disinigrate just my experiance on a ktm

I am with Rocket plus sintered dont get chopped out in the middle of a wet ride and stuff the discs. Sintered heat up and work well, dont fade like organic when getting pounded.

Its all preference like undies  try both, cost you 35 bucks extra and you can carry the ones you dont like as extras for just incase on those big wet weekend rides ;)

    Thanks guys :)

As I spend a fair bit of my ride time wallowing in bog holes  their like a magnet for me

    I’ll look at sintered ;)

Interesting to see the comments on the SBS pads, I’ll give them a go :cheer:

If your discs are a little worn the sintered will take a while (not long just be aware) to bed into the shape of the discs ;) will be all good then

My young kid destroyed a set of organic pads in one wet ride. ;)
Always use sintered pads now, I think they used to be EBC but lately our local bike shop has been stocking SBS.
    Cheers
