Brake snakes

    Cmon you lot,,ideas of good material to use for brake and gear stick snakes.,,and no snowy Telstra wire is not one of them :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

    I have some locks here that are used for locking laptops to desks, I reckon they are the way to go I’ll send you one if you want.

    I reckon they are a waste of time Boony. Not a big fan and I don’t reckon they would do much but empty your wallet. (I can’t go riding this weekend now as I have just jinxed myself).

    I think Mick made some out of some plastic coated wire trace,Looks the goods ;) (apparently he got sick of baiting TB all the time and had to find another use for it :laugh: )

    yep you asked for it….

    i was think of that stuff my self,,I think someone on here has used marlin trace..it comes with crimps and all to look neat.

    can someone show me a picture of the gear stick side???

    they are just to stop sticks from jamming up your brake or gear levers, arent they?

    Had one on my wr200 years ago still broke and bent just one of them things if its down low its gunna get caught. :(

    A quality brake snake is not a waste of time, trust me they work. And yes LC a extra is they do stop sticks jamming in the there

    Micks ones I am sorry do break easier than a wire one, well the crimp pulls out. The last one I just bought for the Tenere brake pedal which I have bent twice without one has three grub screws locking it, very strong
