They are kinda like gouges more so than dints.

AnonymousTake it a decent exhaust repairer and it’ll come up like new, especially if you polished it afterwards
February 10, 2009 at 3:25 am #121746In TB’s words, that pipe has had a whole lota love.
February 10, 2009 at 3:44 am #121602Hey, I like the gaurd!! Gives the bike a LOOK OUT factor..As in , if following it..Look out!! Mick..what on earth happened to that Poor pipe? Looks like it’s been through a Riot?..Do all those “LIL” Scritches affect it at all..like power wise…not looks, they speak loudly for itself..
February 10, 2009 at 4:03 am #121753Well that pipe has a bit of history. Firstly let it be known that not one dent in that pipe was put there by Me.
That pipe has been owned by TB who will claim it never looked like that when he owned it.The next owner of that pipe was Chicken, who TB claims was responsible for all the carnage that pipe has experienced. CHicken actually gave me the pipe for free,so I stuck it on and it has just stayed there since.
As for power loss I couldn’t tell you as I never got to use it prior to said dintage. The XR punches out plenty of power anyhow.
The pipe is much louder than the standard pipe so,it sounds like I am getting more HP,but I am not a good enough rider to feel the difference of 1 or 2 extra HP, but it sounds good.
Nothing like a bit of noisepower to make you think you are going faster.:laugh:February 10, 2009 at 4:10 am #121759Nothing like a bit of noisepower to make you think you are going faster. Good call that. LOL.
One thing for sure, it sure does look to have some stories there.. Top stuff for a campfire gathering with a few ales/rums.
Do Honda still make the 650 xr? There’s one getting around here, been for sale on and off for awhile. ( If they dont make them, they should re-make them, always thought them to be a decent solid bike.February 10, 2009 at 4:13 am #121762Nah they don’t make them anymore. They are a great multipurpose bike. You can single trail them one day and the next day ride it to Perth.
February 10, 2009 at 4:16 am #121763Funny thing is that I didn’t dent the pipe but all the marks on the pipe seem to line up with the gouges in my plastics from when I threw the BRP down the road in November.

February 10, 2009 at 7:04 am #121793I have video evidence of chicken giving that pipe the love marks that it has, not so funny is that dent my current pipe has is because of the lanky bastard!
