8mm of rain Thursday night
This made for a great ride Saturday
New rear tyre was fitted Friday in the case that we were going to ride Southend Wato’s
The plan changed after reading the post from Beemi
Diddel showed up on time this time
We were off doing many of the same trails we did Monday
Everything was running smoothly until I came out of a little gully and hit neutral. Pissed off, I slammed into 2nd and took off straight into a tree 😳 Big impact but bike faired well. Little bit of work on the barkbusters and bike was good again. I was a little more knocked around and was worried about my left shoulder and left big toe. Continued riding with an enormous head ache only to come off again by washing out the front wheel in third gear. Hit the dirt pretty hard and begun to wonder what the hell I was doing out riding today 😯
Not long after I decided to let some air out of the front tyre which stopped the front from washing out as much. New tyre before next ride.
The heat was getting to me so I let Tim and Diddel do another single while I sat on the ground and rested.
Rode to the Gap via Razorback
Travelled Down the southside where I fell off again 😡
Flowed down through Bangalow then up to Gap creek falls rd. This is where Diddel rode back down to Bangalow and Tim and I waited for him to return.
Found another version of Amazon and rode down to the base of the mountain and headed for home.
