hey every one im going to buy a wr450f on Monday im doing a lot of google and youtube it really seems like the bike to buy but I thought id put it out to you guys about pro’s and con’s before I depart with 12k but everything I’ve seen so far just put’s a smile on my face im 110kgs will I have to upgrade springs and what else will I need to spend on the bike to make it complete any feed back will be very welcome

Give the suspension to Nick at Tekniks and get it done. That will be the best money you can spend on it. If you are heavier the valving will make a huge difference as the springs wont stop it going through the stroke. I can take them down after the nav ride if you go ahead.

thanks tb I thought spring wouldn’t do it. yeah barky’s and suspension tuning and ill have a complete bike I cant wait I shout call in sick and go get it tomorrow can you block strucky from this post lol

I bought a new wr450 about 9 months ago and loveit . I also wweigh nearly 110kg and had racetech springs fitted which improved riding dramatically . Definitely recommend

I have just got it and done 20k’s around lighthouse beach im very happy with it ill do a full report tomorrow when I have some time ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))
