    No they aren’t, different bikes, different requirements I would have a yarn to Mal there if I was you. I spoke with him this morning and said you would be in contact with him regarding a damper like you said.

    If I was riding an XR400 or any 400 for that case I would run a Michelin Baja because the guys with the 400’s when we went to Cape York ran those (over 3.3K) and were impressed with wear, grip and no flats. Just my opinion

    I cant afford a steering dampener, so I will fill my head stem full of water about a fortnight before and then tighten up the bearing preload in the head set and that should stop any tank slappers :laugh:
