The GPS looks the business
and I’ve never seen a steering damper under the bottom triple clamp, thats the business. I thought it was an under bar damper ,Is it easy to adjust?

The brass nut thing on top is the adjuster, the damper has zero return and are a good thing. I had one on my XR600 they are OK. That said you cant set them up as stiff as a Scott, MSC or Rocstompa.
It will do the job ad the price was right

August 19, 2010 at 10:33 am #186218I was looking at one of them on ADV but didn’t know if they were any good. So they are ok then are they? I just bought a new bracket for my GPS , actually I bought a few goodies for the Weestrom, Radiator guard, higher front guard, Andystrapz and the waterproof overgloves, just got to fit them.

I have 3 sets and rate them
As far as the damper goes they are ok, not as good as the three big name dampers but better then nothing for sure

August 19, 2010 at 10:46 am #186220So everybody doesnt front Condo with a massive parts kit on the trip I will pack one for the support vehicle to carry on all our behalf..
If people can pair up with a trip buddy and share a filter oil and maybe a chain lube that will reduce space. I will provide the filter cleaning liquid
Well I will hit Sutto’s up for a road test sample
I will pack a tub with all the extra stuff for emergencies and I mean everything.
The tub will have it all and if we cant fix it with the tub, Bollocks told me he will burn it instead of dinner that night   :laugh:I will pack cleaning containers in the tub for the filters and oil changes as well
Picture of the grab kit for example
I will Buddy up with Boulder and share filter oil and chain lube with him
