Boony it actually drys very quickly out there, a little sun and wind. I was talking with Boulder about this today and he said 4 days and the roads were open for them to drive on when they got grounded at Tibaburra two months ago. That said we dont need anymore rain especially the final weeks before the ride.

September 5, 2010 at 8:53 am #186999September 5, 2010 at 8:57 am #187000I have been looking at a few of the long range forcasts and they are predicting the rest of September to be dry so we could be in luck. The slow moving trough that’s bought the rain is on it’s way out
September 5, 2010 at 11:01 am #187002Rain or no rain,,,its part of the adventure,,yous will be fine.

One I pod first day and on the 2nd day use the 2nd one while the first one is charging in the support vehicle and keep swapping them over
and I have a multiple cigarette adapter to use in the support vehicle so multiple things can be ran at the same time
Up there for thinking Bollocks down there for dancing. I hope that clears it up

check the generator has a constant voltage output or you’ll fry both your chargers and your batteries. Any decrease in voltage will increase amperage and buy buy electronics. -
