It all come from Sutto’s Krusty. Jay looked after him, Jay is looking after most of the Camerons stuff. He got all of Moose’s stuff as well and has done a fantastic job

    Hi Krusty
I thought it would be good commen knowledge that both came from Suttos( see jay)

    the screen was about $130

the air hawk was about $160. ( and feels way better than I would have imagined. )

I say ‘ about’ as I’ve already ditched the packaging but Jay will look after you !!

I continued my preparations today, I went for a ride. Left home at 8 this morning and road from Black hill into Stockrington, through to Mt Sugarloaf where I got a flat. The to the gap servo for morning tea and on into the Wattagans, road around there for a few hours (not too sure where I was though other than going past Heaton Lookout) came out at Cooranbong. Back to Freemans Waterhole on the tar then back into the bush again through to Stockrington and Blackhill to home. Got another puncture in the last bit of bush I guess but didn’t realise until I got to the round about at the end of the F3 when I nearly lost the front end going around it. Couldn’t be arsed fixiing it at that stage so road the rest of the way home like that, tyre is about knackered anyway. Got home just after 2 with only 2 stops really, one to fix the puncture and 1 for morning tea at 10.30. So thats about 3 and a half hours where I only stoppped to take a picture, aching all over now. Was going to do a ride report but the batteries were a bit flat on the helmet cam and the 11 videos I took are all about 2 seconds each :( , I thought I had some goos ones too.

Not tubeless, the weestrom is in having the suspension done so I was on the Banana. Just used a patch, as I didn’t have the spare tube with me.

    Sorry Nick
I repacked my bike today, moved some of the gear, got the weight reduced and lower I feel. I now have all my emergency overnight gear in the rear top dry bag. Moved the first aid kit to my camelback for faster access (even though we wont need it ;) )
I fitted and wired my new hour meter, and fitted some of Boony’s Roo whistles ;)
Replaced the missing bolt from the bash plate, rewired the 12volt supply socket (cause it was only working when the heated grips were on   )
I took it to the servo with a dry tank (run out going to the servo I added 1 litre to get there) there I squeezed 22.5litres in so it must be a 23odd litre tank

I better let you guys know I’m preparing for this ride.

I set up the camp in the back yard yesterday. Packed it up this morning and went for a test ride, fully loaded, up to Jerrys Cafe Kulnura for a coffe and muffin. Came home and moved the carby needle position, fitted 12v socket and went out again and met the missus for lunch.

Gave Justo a call and he was near by, so met up with him and rode back home.

I’ve improved the fuel consuption by not ringing the neck out of it and found I can pick up a DR650 from lying on it’s side while it is fully loaded.

    The things you learn, eh.

Other preparation was having a cup of instant coffee. I managed…just. Now that’s roughing it.
