Bike prep done today at TB’s.. Man is a legend I tell ya…

Front and Rear Wheel bearings and spacers..
Check and lubed up steering head bearings..
Front Michy AC10 and UH Duty tube..
Rear Bridgy E78 and UH Duty tube..
New chain (Sprokets were just done a ride ago)
    New rear spring
Checked and lubed up swing Arm linkages..
Fixed striped bolt for Front sprocket cover and then replaced with a B&B case saver..
Added new updated B&B rear rack..
    Rear Brake Pads..
    Cleaned and oiled Air Filter..

While tightening and adjusting spokes I broke a rear spoke.. There were 5 or 6 pretty crappy spokes which seemed to be a bit rusted up.. My mission for the week is to get a new set and TB will lace them up Friday.. Then we can go for a quick squirt to get a feel with everything loaded up..

    Left to do now..

    Oil and Filter
    Front Brake Pads
    12v socket
    Mount bags and pack

Will try and post pics of the final setup this week… Just not enough time in the day as Krusty is going to be cutting it close….

Oh and I seen Suttos today and got a 3 liter Camelback HAWG and new FOX Pants.. Got to love Suttos..

Do you want to cut some tar out between Tarana and O’Connell TB?

Turn left at Tarana onto Hazelgrove Rd and then right onto Carlwood Rd. It’s all wide hard pack dirt to O’Connell.

Cheers Mal, you da man ;) Thanks will do, maybe you could meet us and lead us through there

The pace I ride with my pillion on the back will hold you guys up to much and you’re leaving way to early for me. We’ll see when the day comes. we may meet up some where.

Is there a lunch stop planned?

    #188205

Man I hate it when my link thingy’s don’t work :D. Tubless tyres are a piece of piss to fit mate, like I said before, the hardest part is breaking the bead to get them off. Lubed up the beads with some carwash and the first side virtually fell on, no tube and valve stem to try and stuff in and nothing to pinch. Might have to try those tubless kits for the other bikes.
I’ll try the link thingy again
Nope, still not working, stupid technology :(. If you really want to see just go to google maps and “get directions” Fromw woodberry to Dubbo and “add destination” to Condobolin, then you can use street view to see what the roads look like.

Hell yeah Jeffro. I dont know what time we will be there exactly, I would say around 12ish. I reckon it will take us about 6 – 7hrs ride time plus stops. We are leaving home around 5-30am I would think due to excitement levels

I will ring and leave a message when we leave Orange, I will be able to field calls at anytime when in range that is ;)

Righto. After a bit of ringing around by my chief organiser.
A table has been booked for breakfast at Bathurst for 7 hungry riders for 8 – 8:30am. Our plan is to meet you guys at the intersection in Tarana around 6:30am ish and ride to Bathurst with you.

It is race weekend in Bathurst so there will be a huge amount of boneheads around and fun busters too.
