Badbowie said he had some business to take care of out of Sydney, so I suggested we make it worthwhile & take the bikes.
A perfect day & into some awesome trails, one OB recently said he’d been marking a few trails, he’s put some serious work into them.
So can anyone tell us where we were, the actual Forest would be better.
The photo may help

ps its not that deep if you follow the track
well be riding that trail next weekendJune 10, 2011 at 8:47 pm #203034Ev, you right.
Think we found most of your new trails, you’ve put a lot of work into them.
Some really good riding over there
Found your markers, then just need to look for the trail close by.
We ran out of time & had to get back over Yarrahappini ( these trails are Lantana covered) before dark, saw some other bikes heading into some camoflaged trails north east of your stuff, we’ll check them out next time

cheers evWe started where we crossed the highway at Upper Warrell Creek Road. Straight into singles, then new stuff that had been cut through Lantana. Then 3 or 4 tracks we’d ridden before. Then the stuff that follow/crosses the main trail many times then down into the creek, found the other entry exits from the creek up to Sugar? Trail then on up to Bulls knob, shame it’s been graded as it was a good snotty hill.
The Trails we saw guys disappearing into were well hidden, they crapped themselves when we turned up.
Will let you know when we are heading up again, this was a short notice trip.
June 11, 2011 at 2:24 pm #203043I know where this photo was taken. It’s either Maras Creek Trail or Teagues Knob Trail. There’s a big gritty hill behind wardy’s tree.
June 11, 2011 at 3:08 pm #203035The last ride we had down that way we ran into some guys drawing that sign everywhere. as it turns out wardy soft cocked it on this ride so they painted him with a skirt on for the next time he was there. apparently hes a curly headed wranga with a bit of a temper especially when he see’s himself painted on every second tree in a skirt. it did crack us up.
