July 2, 2012 at 6:21 pm #225424I generally think ADV riding is for homo’s but I would gladly go on this trip, the pics look awesome, keep it up guys and ride safe.
Just looked and they are on the Peninsula Devlopment Road, Musgrave airfield and TB’s last 2 spot tracker logs shows them on the runway!! š
July 2, 2012 at 7:21 pm #225428Just had a call from TB at Musgrave Station, they are on the cans and have settled in for the night. He assured me that there will be no wheelies up the airstrip or jumps off the loading ramp, as apparently that is how they got kicked out of there last time.
Tomorrow they are heading to Weipa to watch the State of Origin. They will probably get run out of town there too.
July 3, 2012 at 3:10 am #225429There must be no internet at Musgrave,it will be killing TB
It is also killing us as we need info on someone who is living the dream Bastards
Or he is do one hell of a ride report to bring us up to date :woohoo:Come on Weipa and internet access
Go Queensland š š
Hope fully they will have a beer at the stubby hut (seen some pretty wild stuff there when the trawlers are in!! :woohoo: :woohoo: ) let alone state of origin.Chicken

July 3, 2012 at 9:43 pm #225479So we left Mareeba at 7.30 had a great run to Palmer River roadhouse where we stopped for a huge breakfast. From there we we headed up to the start of the development roadĀ
All roads open
But this caught our attentionĀ
On to the dirt and the start of the 4w4 drives and road trains, the dust was amazing (real dust Krusty) we stopped at the Hann River roadhouse for a stubby that of course turned into two or three. We met Mike a gentleman from England. Mike is riding all over Aus on his BMW 1200 and is one of natures gentleman.Ā
Check his helmet on the seat
Back view of the BMW
Hann River localĀ
Mike set of for Musgrave before we left has it happened we came across him helping a mother and two kids one there own with a flat. Nice bloke he is was changing the tyre, we offered help but he had it under control so we continued onto Musgrave station were we sat under the house at the staton and proceeded to drink everything that they had. The boys were even seen drinking hot extra dry because they the piss wrecks lead by Kram (Snake murderer) had drank all the cold ones
We met Schooner the guard
Moose pretending to read about the stationĀ
Road trains came and wentĀ
Musgrave station
Airstrip at station that we got turfed from in 2004Ā
We setup camp ate, drank and were seen to be merry campedĀ
Ā Ā
Day 4 soonTB
