Hello all, I am guiding/representing a group of dirtbike riders that will be doing a high challenge ride to raise money for UNICEF, in particular, to help victims of landmines and unexploded ordinance.

Also tied in with UNICEF, are CMAC, the Cambodian Mine Action Center, they do mine clearance and are a publicly funded organization. Their workers often become victims themselves, or even get killed, in the service of others.

We are looking for Sponsors, Letters of Endorsement, Donors and fellow riders to either tell others, or come for the ride. We start 23 November this year, 5 to 7 days trip planned.

If you can help us with any of the above, please contact me or the Tour Organizer Bard Fosse, on the Golden Triangle Rider Forum- Cambodia, look for Bard, Leader of the Pack, or me, MuddyMick for more information.

This trip will get published in America, Scandinavia, Europe and hopefully down under too.

Help us to raise funds for the Cambodian Landmine Victims, UNICEF, CMAC, and a better life for those victims!

    Thank you,

    Mick

    Hi everybody,

Yes we will do this ride which is an extreme adventure ride, floating bikes over rivers, dodging minefields and pass very hard to ride terrain in the jungle. We do the ride for charity and for the challenge and would love for more people to join or help us help the mine victims. Please PM for further details.

    Cheers Bard

Are you up for this one TB?

“an extreme adventure ride, floating bikes over rivers, dodging minefields and pass very hard to ride terrain in the jungle. “

I looked at the area on Wikipedia, there are also tigers and alligators and who knows what sort of insects and the like.

    Sounds like fun

Dont let a few cats and reptiles scare you off mate, got bears and snakes too!
we will be videoing and taking pics, its for sa good cause, not to mention a ride to give you plenty to tell in the pub. See also the
Golden Triangle Rider Forum, look in the Cambodia Section,
Trip report by Alrikki, to get a better idea of the ride, can arrange you hire bikes if you get in quickly enough, if on your own bike, anything over a 400 is too heavy, 650 can make it in the end of the dry season, but we are expecting high waters and mud.

    C’mon lads, dont be shy!

    Mick
