    G’day people,

Just checking in. Seems like a pretty good thing going here and since most of my riding partners joined up recently too so I better get into the act.

I must be Old Bloke’s brother as I live at the base of the Watagans, and have a WR450 (03) and a blue Tiger as well…… Don’t know that I know him though.

My ambition is to do rides at places other than the Wattos. I can go there anytime but places like Wauchope sound great and I need to get up to Clarence again, having only been there once.

    Anyway, see you out there.

    Chris

Chris! By Crikey, I thought you’d never show here you slack bugger! How was Yilgairn? Did you end up going?

In case you haven’t heard, I’m apparently signed up for Condo next year… on the WR250F! You’ll have to give me some tips on bike setup – what not to do would be a good start… (overfilling oil for example!)

Good to see you here regardless!

    Cheers!

    Thanks for the welcome people.

Mr Ecks – Yilgarn was quite surreal. Short story….I had to cancel because I couldn’t get my bike home again, but I was going that way on hols anyway. SafariBerg the organiser rang me at Broken Hill lending me his spare Husaberg 650, the Team gear, and all for free, since I was going that far anyway and to get another rider on the startline (or not refund my start money!). A wonderful gesture and what turned out to be a fabulous motorcycle. MD roadbook holder…MMMMMMM…

There was an unduly large number of retirements and carnage victims so by a modern miracle I came 9th outright after one of the hardest /best days I’ve ever put in on a dirt bike. I’m very reluctant to tell anybody B) , because people might think I can ride, and that would be wrong. 55/85 at Condo is more accurate.

The 250 will be fine for Condo. Look forward to seeing you there if not earlier.

Holy cow, what a story! I know what you mean about the roadbook holder, Dave had the MD this year and compared to the manual version he had last year it seemed to be a dream to use (not that I actually used either one!).

Yeah the 250 will be fine, and if there are as few in the class as this year I’ll be in the top 3 no worries!

I’m looking at a Harvey Ranges ride (Goobang NP south of Dubbo) on the long weekend if you are interested… actually I will put up a ride in ride gatherings in case anyone else is keen.
