    Played around setting the suspension sag and ride heights today,the recommended settings are;
    Rear Static Sag recommendation (thanks to Tekniks website) 30mm ± 10mm, The bike was 43mm
    Front Static Sag recommendation 30mm ± 10mm, the bike was 33mm so within spec

    Rear Rider height recommendation is 100mm ± 3mm, the bike was 142mm

    Front Ride height recommendation is 50mm ± 10mm, the bike is 50mm :woohoo:

    The best I could do with the rear was 23mm static (within range but not ideal) and 121mm ride height which is 21mm too much.

    So obviously the rear spring doesn’t suit my weight and needs upgrading, problem is I also need to lose some weight for health reasons so I have the dilemma. Do I get the work done, then if I actually lose the 20+ kg that I need to, do it again or just wait (pun intended) and see if I manage to lose the weight?

    Ahh decisions decisions.

    Also picked up a genuine yamaha bash plate cheap just because the packaging was damaged. They didn’t have any blue barkbusters though so I will have to wait until the new year for them.

    I was in Sydney on Wednesday for work so called into sutto’s and bought her some new shoes and socks. Fitted them yesterday (only took an hour) and went out and got it dirty today for the first time.
    4 1/2 hours of riding with only 1 five minute rest break (feeling it now). Handled nicely, smooth power with the standard pipe back on.

    Got caught out on one hill and put some scratches on it skull dragging around. Also launched up a rock step straight into a deep dead end rut that had me on the ground when the bike stopped dead. Bent the rear brake disc and had no rear brake for the rest of the day but other than that I was very happy with the bike and the tyres.
