Yeh Nato pull as much of the padding out as is possible. Then get some hot soapy water and wash it thru, then rinse with cold, press as much water out as you can, maybe use a towel or some news paper, then hang her up in a shaded spot to let the rest dry out.

I have a fox v2 and i dont think all the padding comes out so should i just hose it out?I get back from the ride wet the bike over , soak in CT20 for 2 stubbies as Boony said and while having a beer wet my boots , wash my lid liner and hose out the rest of my lid , soak boots and lid in CT20 too. Pressure was bike ( being careful of bearings etc) boots and lid. Put all in the shed to dry.
Been doing this to my current bike gear for 3 years with no problems it’s probably the lazy mans method but it seems to work !!Nick
September 2, 2012 at 6:14 am #228770Can someone please come and wash my bike? I’m going for a ride tomorrow arvo after work and its filthy from last weekend at Bobs place.
I can pay in stubbies and give instructions on how to do a proper job.
September 2, 2012 at 6:18 am #228773If there is heaps of dried up mud you can put it on the rev limiter in neutral and a lot of it will fall off.
CT18 for me, sometimes gerni sometimes not, depends if I can be bothered setting it up, there is plenty of pressure in the hose at my place anyway.
Mine is a Winner 11 by Karcher, it was cheap I stole it off my old man, think he only paid about $100, it works well.

Or electrics, switch blocks, injector (if you have one), decals, CDI, headlight………in fact just use a hose and bucket.
I have a Karcher, I never use it.
i spray it everywhere prably not good but adjust the spray so there s not to much pressure in snsitive areas f%ck me don t you ride in mud can not beat a pressure washer i reckon thick crapy mud round dubbo bugger the hose one hand operation with the pressure wash need the other for a stubby
September 2, 2012 at 7:24 am #228775The only difference between a garden hose and a pressure washer is how close you stand to the bike.
STMSeptember 2, 2012 at 7:26 am #228786some hoses are longer than others

STMYou obviously don’t own a decent one
I’ve had 2 good ones over the years and i wouldn’t even let you stand in front of either of them

They are both Broken from over use and too tight to buy another newbie
