Good heavy duty tube and a pump!! “Toughen up”,a puncture gives you time to stop and smell the roses!! And they dont happen that often if your running heavy tubes and the right tyre pressures. ;)

Exactly:cheer: (Touch wood, throw salt over shoulder and kissing a four leaf clover holding my rabbit’s foot)

mate im a ‘natural born sweater’, i hate doing any manual labour,(on or off the trail) unless its for smoking or drinking.

    lazy, i am.

id rather pay someone a carton to fix a flat. besides, ive got a habit of pinching tubes, HD or not….

So three years plus, no dented rims, whats the cost of new rims, no trail side stops, no tubes, no carrying all the stuff you have to carry

Was Crash running a mousse in the front on the Hillend ride, cause his wheel didn’t survive that one.

The rim wasnt that bad Scotty, there is more to all of it, like if you drill XR hubs and fit heavy duty spokes the hub is weakened thats what happened to his. Had nothing to do with a mousse but Crash will tell you it would have been much worse with.
Put 14pis in a tube and you can squeeze it together yeah, cant do that with a mousse, protects the rims. Ollie and Gassit saw me go flat out up a rocky hill at the Christmas Party and witnessed how hard you can smash into rocks with confidence

PS Crash end a bloody big wash out at speed and said he was luckt=y to stay on

I haven’t had a puncture since I’ve started riding. I have ever chnaged an enduro bike tyre either. I feel a flat coming on soon though, it may well happen at Wauchope, at least Boulder will be there
