Nothing happening there so I went for a nana nap. I was woken by a knock at the front door and wandered down in my boxer shorts thinking it would be a neighbour but instead it was A NSW police officer in full uniform.
I started thinking what had gone wrong and who had pulled a 80km wheelie through suburbia as my name is all over this ride. He asked me if I was Scott and if I was leading a bunch of guys out in the bush today. I told him I was and he said that he could not thank me enough for loaning me the plug spanner and getting him and his mates out of the bush!!!GOLD.

Friends in the right place there King, well done. How bad did you shit when you saw the copper at the door?
TB
I absolutely shat it. Not that we did anything illegal but it would take a good lawyer to prove it

The two of them exemplify what it means to be a member of OBT and are two of the many reasons I love being a part of this website.Good onya boys!!!

Well said King, yourself and Nick should also take a bow. Personally I know what it takes and you guys take it to another level, thanks

November 30, 2011 at 5:08 am #212387Big thanks to Scotty for what was a great weekend. The drive up on Friday morning saw nothing but torrential rain and I wondered what the trails would be like. Once we arrived and got going I realised that they were actually very good and we were in for a good weekend.
With the rain being held back for Saturday the conditions were near perfect and everyone seemed to have a ball. For a ride with nearly 50 bikes in a single group the the flow was great and there were hardly any stops at all, the ones we did have were a welcome break for most I think!
It was great to catch up with some old faces (TB’s face is pretty old) and also meet new ones such as NickJ and Bollocks and many others that would take too long to mention.
I’ll save the video of my red hot attempt of the widow maker into my collection, one to be proud of, go the smokers!! Menace is a bad man, I knew that anyway but with the beers flowing by just after 3pm it was always going to be an early night for me I suppose!!
A top effort raising money for charity, my spring break DVD is excellent but the ADV vids will go to a good home un-watched.
Congrats to Dude for the OBT award and also to spud for his skills in making the award.
Well done on putting on another top ride weekend Scotty and thanks to all that helped and swept to make the weekend run as sooth as it did.
Cheers,
Mo-oh
November 30, 2011 at 6:13 am #212389I will buy the ADV ones if you wish to sell them Mo oh. Was great to see you again as I commented on saturday night, although I had been drinking  it is still true
As far as the widow maker goes, at least your bike didnt end up on its side 2/3s of the way up like mine scratching its way down

I thought for one moment when you dropped the BRP where you did that we may all get to witness an encore performance of tumbling :pinch:

I only attempted it once and made it once but that was on Sunday. I have learnt to choose my battles with that Bitch.
