Here is Trapeze. It wasn’t that hard really, it was just very humid which sapped the energy out of you.
Sunday ride
I forgot to take my gopro with me so only had the camera out at 2 spots. I went to zoom out when LC was coming up the hill but hit the stop button istead so his is cut short.
November 27, 2012 at 7:49 pm #232927Great footage and clean edits Jeffro. You were riding solid all weekend, especially when I saw you a few times on Sunday.

Thanks Scott,
I have had a tendency in the past to ride at or near my limit too often on group rides trying to keep up with the faster riders and wear myself out too quickly. This weekend I just went with the flow for the most part with just the occasional burst of speed.
November 27, 2012 at 11:34 pm #232846Saturdays ride was also a cracker :woohoo:
I was a little rusty at the start with a small dismount into a puddle :pinch: to remind me to pick my game up a bit
Everyone got along at a good pace with only a few issues which gave time for a rest and a chat
Boony twisted his knee on a log
but after a bit of a rest he pushed on
Not to be out done Kevdog decided to take on a tree  and his bike came off second best with a
leaking radiator
Boony to the rescue with some kneadit and we slowed the flow enough for him to ride out
Trapeze was enjoyable except for the vines  I managed to hook up on every single one
I’m thankful I wasn’t at the front as Nickj had to clear all of them to get us through
The second group don’t know how easy they got it
Lunch was fantastic and that set the mood for the ride back which was on fire :woohoo:
Although I think Dejay had too many chips and his bike tossed him off in protest
but as he was suspended in the vines he never touched the ground so it wasn’t a crash
I’m sure it was the lure of cold beverages that drove everyone on

Nice vid jeffro, catching Spud come off over the tree was a gem
Hey Spud can you talk me through that one   :laugh:November 28, 2012 at 11:16 am #232977Great reports and vids guys, it looks like it was an awesome ride and weekend. Well done STM and Nick it looks like you put on a great weekend again. :woohoo:
I SHOULDA BEEN THERE!!
Cheers,
LeftyNovember 28, 2012 at 5:12 pm #232978Another Coffs done and dusted and it ran with the clockwork precision one comes to expect these days. Scotty and his team of helpers did an awesome job the whole weekend and it went without a hitch. SO, on that note, thank you Scott, NickJ, Spud and everyone else that put time and effort in to help out and make it what it is.
The trails were in great shape and we were lucky enough to get some overnight rain on the Thursday night to make them perfect.
Congrats to Adam for getting the Old Bull Spirit award, a well deserved accolade in my own humble opinion.
I’ll leave the rest to the reports and photo’s as they speak for themselves
November 29, 2012 at 9:36 am #232983Well i am a bit late but thanks again to the boys for all the planning for this ride it is certainly a hit for many. Starting with friday, I had an awesome time friday with plenty of mid pack madness was to be had as it was all weekend
We did a run through my new favourite trail called sidewinder and i had a sweet flowy run through there and as scott would have notice i was smiling like a split watermelon. It never suprises me that everytime i ride there scott has a new trail i have never seen and is equally as good as the others.
Saturday i kitted up and forgot my spare camera battery so i got little footage  But im sure i saw more than enough cams to cover what i missedAnyway we had a great start to saturday making great time for an early lunch until scott lead us to “nolines” Which saw more than its fair share of sweat mainly from menace hahaha Anyways we cruised over to the widowmaker and a fair share of the group gave it hell and those who didn’t quite make it certainly gave it a red hot go, I dont think mick had his diff locks in so it was a little tricky for him but a great try none the less. The single after the widowmaker was a ripper with every obsticle in the book another fav of mine. Not too long after there we rolled into trapeze which seemed to have a heap more vine then i remember  I think nicks crew stitched us up and threw a few up there
Thanks again to everyone who came and it was good to meet a few new people and catch up with some familiar faces, Certainly going to catch up with Mikes crew at the sunny coast asap!!
Well here is the clip i got,Make sure you put the quality bar up as it seems to come up in the lowest.
November 29, 2012 at 10:15 am #232996You certainly summed up your Saturday group there mate. It was on the hammer for 8 hours straight :woohoo:

November 29, 2012 at 10:28 am #233002Well that’s just great. You blokes are off riding great Coffs trails and I’m stuck at home with a busted collar bone making Vrooom Vrooom noises in my back yard like the kid in the Honda ad.
You can all get yourselves well and truely…..  :silly: :silly: ..Just joking
Good to see you all had a good time. Can’t wait to get out there riding again.
Congrats to Adam for a well deserved award
The ride report is a great read when I couldn’t get there myself
Stay upright

Nice camera work and editing there Nato, you boys certainly hooked along some of those trails quicker than we did. I see that log almost caught Spdu out on the Saturday too, it was looking like a carbon copy of what he did on Sunday.
November 29, 2012 at 10:40 am #232847What a chore that was riding my dirt bike all day then drinking beer all night
Only joking,that was a cracker.
Those trails are awesome, nice and varied. Absolutely loved the flowing sections , the pace was on to – loved that probably to much
Huge thanks to STM, nick, spud and rob for all your clearing trail work, organisation and making it such a top week end.
Hope your shoulder is feeling better rob.
Great photos and footage there, nice one for that. If possible, going to have to poach one of those for my profile pic. :pinch:
Always enjoy riding with the old bulls, looking forward to next time.
Cheers
