If you get a chance just check that your details are corret here. If you have family or any extras joining for dinner on Friday night let me know as I need numbers by Monday 22nd. The venue has changed for dinner on Friday. It is now at a pub that has a kid freindly bistro so if you arrive late or just want to drink your dinner you can still meet us up. I have a shuttle bus doing laps of the resort so transport is sorted. The Chinese restaurant heard a rumour that 30 big blokes were coming to the buffet and they have gone on holiday for a week :laugh:singletrackmind wrote:

November 14, 2010 at 4:50 am #183760Hey STM I would like to involve myself in the riding and festivities on friday. There will be a continuous line of bikes from Coffs to Woolgoolga! Maybe we should call it the toy run. I will be joining the Crusty Bollocks Pep Circus.
November 14, 2010 at 6:19 am #183761Thanks mate
November 14, 2010 at 10:13 am #190714I drove up to the resort today to tie up some loose ends and check on tide lines before the big weekend. While I was up there I took some shots so you have an idea what to expect. It is not your average “Van Park” and the facilities are top shelf. It is won a lot of tourism awards and it is easy to see why. The grounds are pristine and it has direct beach frontage, its own golf course and an excellent pool area.
Another thing the kids will love is the jumping pillows. Only one was inflated today but they look like a lot of fun for the grommies.
The Camp Cook House is better fitted out than my kitchen with catering fridge’s, electric cook top, microwave, two gas bbq’s and two sinks.
The powered sites have lawn you would expect to find on a bowling green
Which they also have!
And the powered sites have little communal shower/ toilet blocks so you don’t have to hike too far in the middle of the night.
If Boony jinx’s us
and the weather is shit there are enough indoor areas for the families to escape to.
And a big common room with a big screen to watch.
As for the weather what will be will be. We just had a beautiful weekend and the trails are perfect right now. Regardless it will be warm but just pack prepared. And just as a final teaser

November 16, 2010 at 10:21 am #183762Scotty I’m going to have a word with my mate the site manager and get you put on the payroll   mate the amount of publicity you have given them is huge
and with this looking like it’s going to be an annual thing, it might cover the time off that your going to need to improve the event next year if thats possible  you really are setting the bar high again
Good on ya

Cheers for the kind words mate.
You won’t have to look too far for the park staff. They will be under you bedroom window at 6am with the brush cutter. :laugh:I have some bits and pieces to organise this weekend and then it is up to mother nature. We will ride regardless of weather so just pack prepared.
Bring safety glasses incase the goggles fog up and hit everything with a layer of Rainex. They sell some handy wipes with the treatment on it which makes it easy to apply if needed.
It will be warm so a light weight shell will be enough over your jersey.Cheers

November 18, 2010 at 5:58 am #190873Sorry to jerk you around Scotty
But could you take the Dude and Murph team off the list, seems as though Dude will be working after all
If possible leave me on the bench, as I could still be a possible.
I have family at Red Rock so I’ll sort my own accomadation.
Cheers
