November 24, 2010 at 8:22 am #191323I have been thinking about this ride all wedk and with it getting closer thought it time to fit the holy Grail s12 tyre!!
All was going good until the last bite and I thought it might make it easier to remove the tyre lever if I used the un-spooned end of the lever. It’s the first time I’ve done this and I only own short levers.Yep I pinched the bastard!!
. First one ever
tommorrow I’m working in the middle of the bush an hour from the closest bike shop and I thought I’d be smart and change the tyre while the bike was still on the trailer from last weekend. Now I have given myself a mission to sort it out tomorrow so I can be ready for final trail cutting dutys Friday morning.
Looks like an early knock of tomorrow for sure
November 24, 2010 at 8:49 am #191324well ive done something similiar just putting the new M12 on the front , when im at home i use a rubber mallet so i dont pinch the bastards, so i got it on …….alls good pumping it up & down to get the bead to sit right and bang!!! blew the tube so ill be off to get a new one tomorrow ( probably a good thing cause it was the original tube and its a p i ss weak one get a H/D one tomrrow)

Its a pity its rooted new tubes from new bikes make great trail side spares for the puntures even heavy duty cant stop happeneing
Cant wait for this ride :woohoo: :woohoo:
