Oops my mistake Murph. Those firetrails that you ride sure look like they haven’t seen a grader for a while!

EV, Will the infamous widow maker be in the mix?

    Meant to add this…

Im going to leave early on thursday morning and try to get past Brissy before the manic traffic starts, last time i came down to Coffs(new years day) it only took five and a half hours so hoping to be there by about midday to 1pm.

Will you still be riding Ev?

I just got a 450, would it be ok if i came along? I expect grade 5 is easy. I rode a 125 around the paddock a couple of years ago, I would love to get onto the old bulls thing and do some enduro riding! I have bald tyres, and my electric start doesn’t work. I am still practicing riding up hills up my driveway. I have ridden through a local creek and my bike stopped, do you think this will be a problem??
I have an old xr400 but it takes half an hour to start if I drop it, would this be a better bike to bring on the ride and do you reccomend wearing padded undies?

Do I need a camel back or will a water bottle in my backpack be enough? Should I bring a packed lunch or a few cans of spam and a loaf of bread for everybody?
I hope there will be no alcohol involved during the days activities as my vision becomes severely impaired and I have a tendancy to see yowies and drop bears.

This ride appeals to me being a grade 5 because one day I hope to be a grade 1 rider!!!!!
Can you please put me on the list EV!

You have to turn up if you want to get graded.
And no camel back it will make your beer flat.

Well the forecast isnt too good, but this time last week it was the same, we were on a minor flood watch(wich we get all the time and is no big deal ) and it was supposed to rain all week but in the end it was sunny thurs, fri ,sat with showers on sunday and the ride would have been sweet.
The ride will definetly go ahead, we will just have to avoid certain areas if it is really wet.
Even in the worst case scenario there is still 3 days of riding that is practically rain proof.
The sat ride might end up being more grade 5 than 4 though.
I should also say that the premium in town isnt 98 so bring a jerry can.
Also 450s will probably need an extra litre to be on the safe side.
If you have any walkie talkies bring them to.
    My number is 0413 258 184.

    Hey Ev

I have a set of good Walkies and I will bring them with me. I will also bring my GoPro, a compact digi, a Spot Tracker and a GPS logger. That should take care of the electronics
